Like any sport, playing tennis at a strong level is expensive and time-consuming, it’s difficult to get good at without regular coaching which is expensive. Even entering a tournament costs upwards of £25 plus travel. Often, when parents are told their child is good at tennis and has potential to play competitions, they simply can’t afford it. Which is why we’re helping to fund TH Tennis (based out of Almondsbury & Bradley Stoke TC / Olveston & Tockington TC) who over the next 30 weeks will offer FREE tennis at their Saturday squads, for their players who show potential but can’t afford to play.
