Donate to ride

‘The Not so Flying Hogs’ are proudly raising money for the ‘Luke Wheaton Legacy Trust’ on its ‘Donate to Ride’ event on the 2nd of October 2021. The Routes (31, 45 and 60miles) will take in and pass through the Memorial Gardens at Avonmouth provided by Wessex Water for Luke and his colleagues – Brian Vickery, Ray White and Mike James’ families as a place of remembrance, and Woodlands Memorial Gardens at Itchington, on a Tour along the Severn from North Bristol RFC via Avonmouth, Hallen, Easter Compton, Alveston, Stone, Berkeley, Stinchcombe, North Nibley, Charfield, Tytherington and back through to Bradley Stoke and NBRFC. The ‘Not so Flying Hogs’ are a group of people with mixed bike riding abilities, from a variety of backgrounds that have come together as social bike riders – some of which knew Luke from an early age, including his Uncle and one of his Secondary school teachers. The group regularly raise money for charitable causes and its members will ‘Donate’ what would have been this years’ cycling shirt / kit money to this very worthy cause in the knowledge that any monies raised will go to a great cause. It is hoped that you can support us by donating – if you can, to this incredible trust that will help young people into Apprenticeships and assist with community sports essentials. Yours faithfully, The not so Flying Hogs I’m raising money for THE LUKE WHEATON LEGACY TRUST and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate a lot or a little. Anything helps. Thank you for your support.
